Swimming With Humpback Whales Is Magnificent

The oceans are full of surprises and they are still unknown to humanity. Like space, oceans are so vast and deep that still, humans haven’t discovered 10% of what they can have in them. There are millions of species of animals and plants in the ocean. Still, humans are unable to teach the deepest point in the ocean regardless of so much advancement in marine transportation. The oceans have the number of living things then all humans and living things on land. Till now the ocean is like the Pandora box of wonders and humans are just sitting on the edge of the ocean and still, all ocean is yet to be explored.

The ocean has natural predators fiercer than land predators. The mammals thrice the size of land mammals. But as we can see that all the living things in the ocean are evolved to survive in water, so they have different features and body shape from land animals.

Out of all these animals, the species of whales are the largest. The blue whale is the largest mammal on earth. They are thrice the size of the largest mammal on land i.e. elephant. Usually, these whales will be found in deep oceans. But there are also many other members of the whale family-like a humpback whale, sperm whale etc.

Here we will discuss humpback whale and will check how this creature is so magnificent. The humpback whale can be 15 meters long and weigh up to 40 tons. But even with this weight and size, they are still half the size of blue whales. They are excellent swimmers and strongest organ which help them to swim is their tail, which is called as flukes. Humpback whale is greyish black and has a white patch on their bottom half of the body. While swimming they arch their body in the water which feels like big hump over the surface of the water. That gives them their name as humpback whales. The humpback whales can use their tails to jump out of the water and still researchers are unable to know why they do so. But the interesting thing is that they have 40 tons of weight and use their tail in such a way that helps them to breach the surface of the water. That’s a spectacle to watch.

Swim with humpback whales in Australia whales are not a threat to humans. Even with this huge size, they can be one of the friendly sea animals for humans. There are many tourist places in the world where these whales can be seen, and people can enjoy swimming with them. You can just imagine that if you have a height of 2 meters and you are swimming with a creature of 15 meters, what an awesome feeling will be that. swim-with-whale
